I'm the worst wife ever in the history of wives :(

I promised Jaime I'd take him to the Convention today in L.A. so he could meet the people from Firefly. He loves Firefly. It was like, his favorite show. He's still bitter and upset about FOX cancelling it. I said "Well, we'll get their early enough to get good seats, so we'll leave about 7..." So this morning at 6:30, the alarm goes off and I couldn't get up.

Why couldn't I get up? Because, for whatever reason, i couldn't fall asleep last night. I distinctly remember 3 o'clock rolling around. Jaime knows this because for whatever reason, he couldn't sleep either.

So we went back and forth for about 30 minutes, and he kept insisting I was too tired to drive, and I kept insisting I would "wake up,give me a few minutes" but ultimately, I let him convince me to go to sleep. Because I wanted to go to sleep.

And that's how I broke my promise. :( He says he's not mad, but I feel like shit. If I missed James because Jaime was tired, I'd be pissed off. And on top of that, the cookies I was going to make him didn't tunr out well (though I am going to tackle the dough again...) and last night we went to the store but didn't buy food and now we haveno food and I'm starving.

My boys are going to the playoffs!

After we kill the Green Bay Packers next week, we'll be the 6th seed AFC Wildcard! WOO!!!!!
The game against the Colts tonight was fantastic. So fantastic I couldn't write because I was watching the game!!!! The wonderful, beautiful, fantastic, super, lovely, fun, wonderful game agaisnt the Colts, in which the Broncos slaughtered the Colts. And it's only fitting that the Broncos destroy the Colts, I think.

Cookies!

Ok, I bought the instanst sugar cookie mix. So that's good. And then I bought two different kinds of chocolate chips and also raisins and oatmeal. Despite my announcement that I would never make cookies again, I have successfully made chocolate chit and oatmeal cookies in the past, and I plan to again if it kills me.

So, does anybody have a good oatmeal cookie recipe? My cheapo cannister of oatmeal doesn't have a recipe on it.

They're edible! Maybe not the best cookies anybody ever had but they aren't burnt, they aren't...well, wahtever it is that cookies do when I bake them...and they're yummy.
