So yesterday's poll was a failed experiment. I mean, I got a few responses from people I know (thank you, people! I love you, too!), but it occurred to me later that it looked more like an ego-stroking meme. I didn't intend that. I'm just deeply curious about all the strangers who friended me. I guess I could friend every person back and learn about y'all that way.
In other news, Nina Simone's cover of Here Comes the Sun is really amazing. As a general rule, I do not like covers of any Beatles songs, but wow. It sounds like George wrote this song for her and was just keeping it warm until she could get around to recording it. Also, her version of Mr. Bojangles is practically giving me chills.
We have two new releases today. A Hidden Beauty is one of my favorites of everything we've ever written. Last October, I was watching Gothic, and Byron and Shelley clearly wanted to fuck each other's brains out. Hot movie.
