You know why I love Larry McMurtry like gigglestheblood loves ice cream? Because he writes about characters who are simple too big to be contained in a city. These are people who must move west and suffer the indignities of Texas and kill the Indians and fight the Mexicans because they simply can not be contained anywhere else. Hell, they can barely be contained within the pages of their own stories.

And I don't have a single Lonesome Dove or Comanche Moon icon, so I guess I'll use my Clint icon for now.
