Yuletide Fics: Official List

First, I must put in a plug for the two fics I received this year--from the same author! wysiwygot did such a great job with Career Permutations of Bret and Jemaine and A Curious Conchord Contest. You must read them, even if you've never seen Flight of the Conchords--and then go watch Flight of the Conchords.

I wrote six fics this year, for shits and giggles. So I thought I'd go ahead and link them now since all the authors have been revealed. It was a lot of fun, and it really, really awakened some of my old fannish tendencies. For example, now I want to write pages and pages of Tombstone fic.

Shaun of the Dead--written for stelluci.

Summary: stelluci requested something oriented around Shaun and David. This is about how Shaun and David could have been friends. Once. R.

Tombstone
3 A.M. Automatic
Summary: Doc tells Wyatt about his past with Johnny Ringo. Doc/Wyatt, Doc/Johnny implied, NC-17

Band of Brothers
With Me.
Summary: Set during Currahee, before they shipped out to England. Winters/Nixon. First-time fic. NC-17. gigglestheblood really wanted Winters/Nixon, and when I found somebody else on Yuletide requesting it, I went for it.

Full House
An Empty House.
Summary: I did it for the lulz. I acknowledged to Lindy that maybe I went overboard with some of the details. Hardcore BDSM drabble. Slash, obviously.

Hot Fuzz
Step Into Christmas.
Summary: Fun ficlet, just about 1k. Nicholas Angel's first Christmas in Sanford. Danny makes sure it's a good one. R.

RPS--Simon Pegg and Nick Frost--written for skitz_phenom
Not Really Queer
Summary: Simon and Nick lived together for several years...and slept in the same bed for most of that time. I personally think they shared a bed the whole time, ifyouknowwhatImean. R.

*HUGS* ZOMG - THANK YOU!! I absolutely adored that fic! I had a feeling it might have been you, just because of how slick of a story it was, and the hilariously fun dialogue! So awesome - just loved it so much! You rock!

I also thought that your Hot Fuzz fic was absolutely adorable!! So charming and utterly sweet. Made me melt!!

OH! And I'd also read your Tombstone fic! Fantastic! Surprisingly I'd never read Tombstone fic before, and I just loved it! Really hot and just a bit twisted and dark... but so hot~! I should've guessed that was you!

I love that over those 3 different stories I read, they were all different tones and themes, but they were all so great. From humorous and charming, to fluffy and poignant and sweet, to dark and steamy - You have such an amazing range as a writer!

I'm a bit behind on all of my other Yuletide reading (Hardly been able to find the time, between baking and several Christmas celebrations, and getting sick and spending New Years weekend up in Green Bay... Whew!), but I'll definitely be checking out your other fics! Full House? Heh - I think I'm a bit scared of that one! LOL

Hee, I have to admit, I love getting feedback from you. You always make me feel all tingly and happy. When I saw that you had requested Nick/Simon, I figured I had to write it--though not just for the feedback, lol. But I knew it would probably make you happy (if I didn't totally fuck it up, which was a possibility since I've never done Nick/Simon RPS before!).

And you should be a little bit scared of the Full House fic. But I personally think it's hilarious.
