I officially have DirecTV now. I'm trying to figure everything out and get a handle on the TIVO menu. One thing though--will I just have to deal with the fact that everything is EST? I don't like that at all.
We have the freestanding TiVo, so I'm not sure if this is the same, but when you set it up you choose which feed you want it to read from. (This is through "Messages and Setup" then "Recorder Setup" or "Cable setup") Also, on the individual channels there are sometimes several options to choose from (For example they have Fox Sports Bay Area, Fox Sports Chicago Area, etc.) (That's under "Channel Setup") Under Channel Setup you can also set it to skip all the religious and shopping and spanish stations, lol.
