Nip/Tuck is quickly becoming the stupidest goddamned show I have ever seen. I'm not a lawyer, or a judge, or police officer--but I watch a lot of American Justice and I read many, many case reports and crimelibrary.org and
I have never heard of anybody found guilty because they are innately evil and predisposed to violence. Ever. Also? Insanity? Doesn't mean "genetic disposition to violence." It essentially means mentally incapable of judging right from wrong...That's why sociopaths can't claim insanity, or they won't win at least, even though in layman's terms they're clearly insane.
I know this episode is just an excuse to explore Christian's character in depth, but it is so unrelentingly insulting that I'm not sure how much more I can take.
ETA

10:47: Everything appears to be a dream
10:48: The dream was just a dream! I'm shocked! Is this a dweam within a dweam, like mawwaiage?
10:48:30: The real carver struck again last night.
