Just got back from the Eric Clapton concert. Now I am well and truly and utterly exhausted. I swear to god, tomorrow I'm not going to do anything but sleep and run to the grocery store. Oh, and post all about Utah, Writercon, and the concert, because I'm sure everybody is dying to know all about my week.

Are they still giving you the run-around? Is your degree ever going to post? Do you have a job yet?

It took them forever to post my degree, so I had to go down there and explain nicely to them that I was applying for a job that needed my degree to be posted, so could they please hurry the fuck up and give me my grad transcripts. This guy put a rush on my degree and it took them all of five minutes to post. Lazy assholes. They still have posted anyone else's except for people who have complained. Then they sent me the wrong copy of my transcripts. Then the stupid Grad dept. is taking FOREVER to process my application (again because my degree hadn't posted, but its been 2 weeks and they still have done anything). Then the Financial Aide dept. is sending me threatening letters about how I won't get any money unless my parent signs my FAFSA , even though I've explained to them once i'm in the grad program, I'll be independent and wont need a signature. SO I go down there and they basically say "Oh, just kidding, we just like to make empty threats".
At least I got my subbing job.

You know I ended up selling my Clapton ticket so I could spend another day in Vegas and not have to deal with late Sunday night return to LA traffic.

The traffic wasn't that bad by the time we left. In fact, it wasn't bad at all. A part of me wishes I had stayed in Vegas an extra night, but the other part of me is really, really, really happy I was at that concert.
