Vacation: Day 1

What did I do today?

I got up at 8:30, and came out and kicked around for about an hour. I tried to use the laptop cord again, but it's still fucked up. Unable to access any of my current projects, I decided to start a new Firefly story. This one doesn't have any squicky Simon/River, it's about Book's past, and Mal and Inara, and set after Objects in Space. I got the first chapter done today, nearly 2,000 words, and I'm quite pleased. I probably won't get the cord until the end of the week, so I guess I'll finish this and then go back to my other WIPs.

Then I went to the grocery store and bought real groceries and food for dinner for the rest of the week and lunch food too. If you know how I shop, you'll be quite surprised by tihs. When I came home from the store, I cooked dinner!

So that's my day in a nutshell. After I soak the old toes (which are doing good today, if still a little sore...) I might go across the street and watch some flicks with my neighbor and Jaime.

Hey, I'm just wondering, I know that you make movies, and I think some of them are very good, but What I was wondering is, what program do you use? I'm trying to make one now, and it's being a pain in the ass!

Ch. 6 of the Warden is up over there and the parallels just keep a-coming. It is quickly evolving into the gloriously sick need that was displayed by your pair. (I can't help the shameless flattery I loved that fic and Mad Brilliant that followed it)
