What can you do?

Last night, driving home, I noticed that gas ranged from 2.49-2.56. The vast, vast, vast majority of the gas stations charged over 2.50. Ironically, the most expensive gas came from the pumps at "Thrifty Gas." Heh.

ETA: I posted my story for the contest this morning, after passing it by about 10 different people and garnering suggestions and making revisions, and I felt pretty good about it. Now I'm pretty sure it sucks. Man, this is going to be a long week.

Macaroni Salad?

Actually, it's more like potato salad. Not too shabby. It wasn't a waste of a block of tofu, but it wasn't really great either.

I saw What's Eating Gilbert Grape for the first time today. Only Johnny Depp would keep me glued to a two hour movie that seemed to last for eight. I hope HBO keeps up its theme of "Depp Movies Pepper Hasn't Seen" and plays Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas. Ok, I've seen most of it, but I don't think I've ever sat through the entire movie.
