This last week went by really fast. I had very few cravings for anything bad, and other than the cool whip debacle, things went really well. I'm eating salads 1-2 times a day, and I haven't been feeling bored with the food, or resentful about the fact that I can't eat what I did before. Oh, though last Wednesday, I had to run to WalGreens, and it is literally surrounded by fast food places. I stepped out of my car and was hit with the most wonderful smells...sigh. I ignored them. And lately, there's been a commercial for a new restaurant at the local open-air mall. The place is called "Counters" and according to the commercial, they've got the greatest burgers known to man. I have to admit, it occurred to me that if I was going to cheat anywhere, it would be there. But it's probably too rich for my blood, anyway.
I feel like I lost weight. This is the time I wish I had weighed myself, lol. But it's common to lose up to 10% of what you need to lose during induction, so I might have some not insignificant loss.
Yesterday, I had a salad for lunch and then a steak and salad for dinner. I had two snacks. One was a protein shake (about 7 carbs. It actually tasted pretty all right), and the other was some deviled eggs after dinner.
