I was reading this article about torture in the Whedonverse, and now I want to watch all the scenes she mentions, as well as a few she didn't, and write some of my own. I don't know why there's so much eroticized torture of male bodies in the Whedonverse. There are some good theories in the article and in the comments. All I know is that it really turns me on.
