Which is really, really bizarre because I don't even like the man that much. I mean, I respect him because he's a fine QB and I don't hate him because I have nothing aganst the Colts...yet. No doubt next year, I will hate him, as I came to hate Aikman, Montana, and Young (though oddly, I never hated Marino. Maybe because he wasn't really a threat). But that's neither here nor there. The point is, I have never dreamt about any NFL QB before...so why Payton Manning? Why not Plummer? Shit, why not Elway?

All the dreams were vaguely sexual, though nothing really happened. The first one was kind of funny. He won the Superbowl then retired, and somehow, met my mom, who he then married (!), before moving us all to a weird country that didn't like television or puppy dogs (!!) and Dan Marino was our neighbor, though I never saw him. At some point, he decided he liked me in that way and we spent a lot of time flirting and leading up to things, but then Iwoke up or something. Curses!

In the second clear and vivid dream, we were all in high school, though he was a few years older than me, and he drove a jeep. He had a GF and I think I had a BF and we weren't supposed to hang out together, but we did anyway, in a friendly way, until we started flirting and leading up to the Big Moment, when I woke up. Foiled again!

Jaime says I shouldn't eat anything before I go to bed. I did have some pie right before I turned in.

I don't know if there's an adjective to describe that man. He just basically said that the elderly and disabled aren't entitled to entitlement programs, except when they are entitled to entitlement programs, but they're not run correctly, so the only answer is to cut the programs because that'll make a positive difference.

Republicans are such cry babies when they lose. "Childish antics on the floor"--yeah, filibustering Alaska Drilling is a "childish antic" because no reasonable, adult person could possibley ever, under any circumstances, think that drilling in the reserve is a bad idea.
Who is being spied on?

One F.B.I. document indicates that agents in Indianapolis planned to conduct surveillance as part of a "Vegan Community Project." Another document talks of the Catholic Workers group's "semi-communistic ideology." A third indicates the bureau's interest in determining the location of a protest over llama fur planned by People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals.
