Ok, so Saturday I started my novella. Sunday I wrote fanfic. Monday I finished the fanfic and added another 1500 words to the novella. Today, I get back to the "Murder" project. I hope to do 3,000 words, putting me over 20K.
But before I get started...
1) The October issue of Oysters and Chocolate has been released, featuring a short story from yours truly and poetry from
xionin, so check it out, yeah?
2) I submitted New Frontier for consideration at the 2006 Eppie Awards. I doubt I'll win, but it won't hurt to get my name out there, especially since I have upcoming releases.
3) Speaking of, I submitted the muchly revised California Stars to Liquid Silver for further consideration. Hopefully, Raven likes the revisions. I just skimmed the MS for the first time since I revised it, and I like them well enough.
4) Finally, I registered for NaNoWriMo. I've never done this before because Novemember was never a good month. I always had half a dozen papers to write, which meant I was swamped at work since everybody else had half a dozen papers, plus finals approaching, plus it was TV sweeps, so I had a lot of things to watch...;) Anyway, this year is obviously much more subdued. I need to go to the library and start my research now, though.
5) Ok, still haven't got my ass to work. I did, however, submit Mad World to an agent who is currently trying to expand her client base. I hear she also responds quickly to submissions made via her webform, so...*crosses fingers*
