I haven't been updating much, except for my diet.
First, for those part of
peppersreading, I really haven't forgotten about it. In fact, at this very moment, I'm steeped in guilt. But I've been writing this past week. A lot. I've been working on two main projects.
1) Finishing up California Stars, which I just sent to two publishers last night (synopsis plus first 3 chapters).
2) Whiskey Creek press has a call for "twisted fairy tales" and among their examples was a mention of The Highwayman. This was my favorite poem as a young girl, so I instantly wanted to corrupt my memories by turning it into porn. My goal has been 2000 words/day, on top of whatever work I'm doing on CS. now that CS is off my hands for a moment, I'm going to up the goal to 4000 words/day.
3) Does anybody remember my threesome fic, THe Zebra Wore Fishnets and The Zebra Wore Red Lace? Well, I decided I'm going to revise and expand that as well for submission to Ellora's Cave, though I haven't started on it yet.
Basically, I'm doing as much work as I can to justify not having a real job.
Day 6 of Induction marches on. It's getting easier. Today I plan to cook a big ol' sirloin steak in the oven like Alton Brown said to do.
