Man is that funny

Don't you just love it when you're reading your FL and someone or ones have extremely explicit icons and your boss just happens to look over your shoulder? Man, good times.

The Registrar faxed the letter yesterday. I submitted my FAFSA yesterday as well. I also got my $190 State Tax refund. Hopefully the federal will be coming in any day now. After the stress and excitement of yesterday morning, I'm feeling much better today. I also get paid today. Woohoo!

We were assigned to expand our Creative Writing assignment, so I'm striving to push my Shakespeare fanfic to 10 pages. Why is it when I'm not assigned to write, I'm extremely verbose, but I'm assigned one ten page story and it's a struggle all the way through? Anyway, I will probably post that when it's finished, but y'all have to promise not to laugh at it...Also, when my class reads this, they're going to think I'm one sick fuck.

Cravings

As a child, I despised wasted food. That was probably due to my parents and grandparents who also despised wasted food. It's also probably why I was such a fat child. But when I was in elementary school, I considered the wrapping around cupcakes to be food. Why not? It was covered in cakey goodness--usually chocolate--and people just threw it away!

Well, not me. My favorite part of eating cupcakes and muffins was chewing on the paper wrapper afterwards. People thought it was gross, but who got that extra little bit of cakey goodness? Me, that's who.

I bring this up right now because I haven't had a cupcake paper in a long time and I kinda want one. Or maybe I'm just looking for excuses to not get my work done.

There's a difference

I have a dilemma

Wilco will be performing at Coachella on April 30. Then they will drive 150 miles to La Jolla and do a concert that night.

Now I have three options:
1) Pay nearly $200 to go to the Coachella festival and catch all the acts I enjoy but don't need to see.
2) Pay about 1/2 that to go to La Jolla.
3) Pay $200 to go to Coachella and then drive 150 miles to La Jolla to see them again (this is my favorite option).

It's expensive, but that's what the tax return is for, right?
