Well I got my Halloween treat...

So I noticed that many of our channels on our cable were missing, and have been for a few weeks. The first time I called I was assured it wasn't a problem with our account, we'd get the channels back, etc etc. Only, we never did. So I called back tonight and I was informed that we're missing the channels because we never should have got them to begin with.

This sucks for me, because among the channels was the Independent Film Channel, aka, the only movie channel that ever plays anything worth watching.

So we decide to call back and pay the extra $20 *shudder* for the extra channels. I don't want to do it, but I really don't want to be without the only channels I ever really watch anymore.

The nice gentleman I talked to mentioned we could move to the Gold Package and take advantage of a promotional deal, which would give us channels 100-200 plus another movie package. We chose Cinemax for the porn, which has 11 channels. So in effect, we got at least 111 new channels for the low, low cost of $10. This promotion price will run out in 15 months. However, in approximately 9 months, we're moving.
