I'm satisfied, content, and amused

Ok, first off, I normally wouldn't do this since I created a whole different LJ for my original fic, and if you didn't want to read it, you wouldn't have friended it....but, I wrote a short story the other night and I kinda like it...and I want to know what others think...so Writing Home.

So, Jaime dragged me out of the house kicking and screaming. First we went to The Game Spot and bought Final Fantasy X-2. What? I'm weak and pathetic and I've been looking forward to this game for years. YEARS I tells ya. So yeah, it's an early CHristmas present.

And then we went to a restaurant called Foodelicious. It's soul food, family owned and operated. And OH MY GOD! Everything from the biscuit to the cobbler was so fucking delicious and filling and wonderful...REAL macaroni! REAL MACARONI!!!!!!!!! And cheap! Same amount as other places, but better and bigger portions. We will be going back often. It was extremely satisfying.

Now, on a whim, I'm watching the Simpsons Treehouse of Horror I on DVD. Brilliant, just brilliant. Can't stop chuckling. OOoh! Now the Raven!
