Right or wrong, TO did behave like a prick. You can't call your boss a dick and pick a fistfight with your coworkers. I'm on board with that. But you know what I think is really fucking stupid?

The Eagles policy of not recognizing big accomplishments, like 100 touchdown receptions. Guess what you fucks? You're a football team! There may be more important things in my life than football, but there is nothing more important to a football team than football! Recognizing individual talents and accomplishments will not somehow tear the team apart. Hey, it's not like you've got a Superbowl ring, you fucking pansies. Maybe it is time to recognize individual accomplishments on the field, because god knows you've got nothing else going for you, especially this season.

But I will say, I am happy you essentially fired TO. I mean, it's not like your quarterback is injured and is obviously in a great deal of physical pain every time he plays. It's not like you have to fight and struggle for every single win...and it's not like you've had your collective asses handed to you plenty this season. Weaken your offense. Take off the player that can distract an entire defense, thus freeing them to attack your injured and weakened quarterback!

Yeah, there are more important things than football. I guess you have to tell that to yourself after you miss the chance to go to the Superbowl two years in a row, only to get there the third time and lose.

I'm sure McNabb is looking forward to next Sunday. They're going to blitz the fuck out of him.

I don't know. I've gotten so damned sick of Terrell Owens' bitching and moaning and whining. Maybe the Eagles should have recognized his 100th touchdown reception. But it's their policy not to. And it doesn't give him any right or excuse to run around acting like a pissy, little four-year-old.

Of course, the Eagles should have known better when they hired him since this is just a repeat of what he pulled at San Francisco. I know it's unlikely, but I hope the dipshit finds out that he's not near as marketable and desirable as he thinks he is. Because football is a team sport and he seems utterly incapable of functioning as a team member since about 2001. At this point, I don't know but that his presence might be so distracting that it would be potentially as bad for the Eagles as his absence.

Well, like I said, I agree that TO was a prick, and he deserves to be suspended for a game or two. But I think The Eagles policy is just stupid. These records are big deals...they wouldn't be kept at all if people didn't care. I can't understand the notion that it's best to ignore them. I think that TO should have kept his mouth shut and accepted the situation like a man and a team player, but I also think the Eagles shouldn't have ignored the whole situation. The fact is, 100 TD receptions don't happen every day.

TO will be playing somewhere next year. He's a fucker, but he's a fucker who can run real fast and make the big plays. That's all that matters...

I don't agree with you at all. Hell, I would have hated it if the Colts hadn't paid any attention to Peyton Mannings 49 TD passes last year.

I just wish that TO could just pretend like he was a mature adult because I think his behavior reflects poorly on the sport.

Heh, that's what I figured :)

The Colts had a good game last night. I look forward to meeting them in the playoffs...I think a Broncos/Colts AFC Conference Championship game would be nice...

Damn straight. The Broncos have been doing quite well this year. This has been a very interesting season, for sure!

They made a big deal out of his 100th overall TD reception - it's just dumb to do it again for what's basically the same milestone.

I hate it when they stop or distract from gameplay for minor milestones. Unless you're breaking an NFL record, I don't want to hear about it until after the game.
