Tomorrow it'll be three weeks since I took the exam, and yet, I still don't know my grade. Honestly, I hate my department. I hate it so much. If I think about it too much, I'll just erupt into a seething cauldron of endless rage. Maybe we'll have results by tomorrow.

I finished my Dracula paper today. Like, really finished it. And I really like it, too. I think it's a pretty decent paper, though I'm relieved it's not for Howard because he'd make me write another three drafts, no doubt.

I've still got two papers to write, though. I can't believe I only have two more classes, and then I'm done with school forever. It's insane and frightening. You know what the worst part is? I still don't even know what to do with my life. I thought I'd have it figured out by now, but no. It sure makes it hard to decide what happens next.
I was thinking about last night's Top Chef, and I wonder why I'm still watching at all. That chick made some Johnsonville (heh) brats with some peppers and onions, she didn't have enough for the judges, the shrimp had nothing to do with anything, and I honestly put more effort into a bowl of cereal than she put into that meal, but she gets another chance.

Ryan gets dressed down and eliminated because he is supposed to cook "up scale" except when he's not, then he's a prick for daring to serve "up scale" food at a tailgate party. Well, fuck those fuckers. I guarantee that those tailgaters were not working class heroes. Football tickets ain't cheap. So the judges want "up scale" food except when they don't. There is no way in hell his chicken tasted worse than cheap brats sans red peppers on tough bread with no sauce.

It's the same problem I had with the show last year, and honestly, I think the producers have a winner in mind. I don't mind if they do, I just don't want to be able to see it. Let me participate in the pretense! i had the same problem with the last cycle of America's Next Top Model. It was so obvious to me that Tyra wanted Saliesha to win, and by god, she was going to win.

I watched Step Up and Dance this morning. I've never seen it before. But the guest judge didn't like "effeminate" men, so the guy who was the gayest of the bunch was sent home. They had nothing negative to say about his dancing, just that he's not enough of a man. I won't be watching that show again.

Which reminds me, all of the wankers on Hell's Kitchen are pissing me off. Are they there because they can cook? Or because they're a bunch of incompetent assholes? If it's the latter, I don't really want to watch anymore.

Speaking of America's Next Top Model, the show has improved immensely now that Claire and StacyAnn are gone.

At least Rock of Love 2 ended the right way. I don't know if I believe Ambre is completely in love with Bret Michaels, but I believe it enough, and I think if she sticks around, she'd actually be good for him. It'll be interesting to see the reunion show on Sunday, though they looked luvvy-duvvy in the previews.
