Good Morning, Good Morning, Good Morning...

I've got nothing to say, but that's ok.

My final is in an hour. I have to go study for it...do one more read through of all the poems. Then when I'm done, I have about 10 chaptersin my history book to read. But in about 12 hours, I'll be sipping a daquiri and watching Dave Chapelle! Woot!

I finished the second chapter of the as yet unnamed auction fic last night. The lack of title is pissing me off. I guess I'll look for another poem to lift lines from...ahh poetry. The last refuge of a scandral. I'll start posting it next week. redqueen6238 saw a sneak peak and said it didn't suck too bad.

I watched Not Fade Away again last night. I didn't cry once.

The poetry final went well, but then, I never had any reason to doubt that it would. If there ever comes a day when I can't bullshit about poetry for an hour, then I just need to leave the department and be a business major or something.

I also talked to Dr. Cook about future plans and possibilities for me. He was very encouraging and made me feel much better about my chosen goals. He also said that getting a MLS is a fine idea, and offered suggestions about how to gauge what the job market is like for professors, and suggestions about where I should go. ALl in all, it was a productive discussion.

Now i have 4 hours to study for history...well, 3 1/2 really. I think that should be enough.

I'm tired but...DAVE CHAPELLE IS TEH AWESOME!!!

Oh my god. That. Was. Amazing. I'll post details tomorrow or something...but in the mean time, writhe in jealousy peons! WRITHE!!! Because that was the awesomest awesome thing since awe was invented.
