1) [livejournal.com profile] slacker_97. Sometimes he drives me crazy, but mostly he's the greatest guy a girl could ever ask for. On Tuesday night I had a bit of a stressful mini-breakdown and ended up crying in the shower for 30 minutes because I felt like I was breaking, and he came and got me out and dried me off and brushed my hair and spoke in low soothing tones untilI had calmed down, then gave me a massage, and then cuddled with me until I fell asleep. See? I'm bragging because this is far from uncommon. (His thoughtfulness is not uncommon, my breakdowns are though...)

2) [livejournal.com profile] redqueen6238. Because she's smart and hot and fun and I'm sucking up so when she comes home and sees I started and posted a new story, she'll only yell at me a little bit.

3) [livejournal.com profile] sabdhyl and [livejournal.com profile] mouseincanada. I put out a call one night to chat with me,and ended up meeting two of the nicest most wonderful people. They've helped me on Mr. William, Mad World, New Frontier, beta'ed for me, listened to me whine, cry, bitch, moan...put up with me and [livejournal.com profile] sabdhyl still wants to meet me in Las Vegas at Writercon!

4) My chance to go to University of La Verne. It's not well-known. It's not big. But I have a free-ride and I have the most fantastic professors who also drive me crazy, but who I mostly love. I have the most wonderful bosses who are really like good friends more than bosses. I have oppurtunities and fun and great classes and I've never regretted my decision to go here.

5) My family who I never really see anymore or talk to, because I'm a bad person.

6) Every single person who friended me, who reply to my posts and stories, who answered my poll, and who otherwise validated my LJ existance.

7) My friend Una. She's not on LJ, but she's been a major part of my life for the past 4 years. She's my best friend, she's the smartest person I've ever met in my life. I swear to god, there's nothing she doesn't know. Sometimes I can't believe that somebody as super and intelligent and wonderful and amazing as her considers me her best friend. I couldn't believe it 4 years ago, can't believe it now.

8) The Whedonverse...it brought so many people together.

Huggles and Even More Kissing...

Don't we all want to meet you in Vegas?! Savvy just hasn't told anybody that I'm trying to attend too--only because *she* wants *all* the gay sex! LOL!

You are not a bad person. Period. You would not be called a friend by so many if you were. Feel the lurve Pep...

Oooh, there must be something in the air. I had a melt down last night too. Next time let me know, and I'll join you in the shower. It's always better to have somebody sobbing with you.

Well, come on, I have to get it where I can! And you've seen what this girl writes! Come on, I gotta get me somma that!

But seriously, Pepper, getting to know you has been a great blessing in my life as well. through you and my other LJ friends, I'm starting to re-explore my own identity and finding myself to be a writer again, which I haven't been since grad school. You have been an inspiration, and I'm thankful to know you.

Now give us a kiss . . .

I'm glad that you have so much to be thankful for. And, I'm sorry that you and your family have fallen out. But, I'm glad you have such a wonderful husband and such good friends. :)

WHat about Jennifer, without whom you'd never survive Advanced Writing and there would be no one for you to look at sarcastically when certain people make funny comments, even though they're trying to sound intellectual?
Huh, Haley what about that? Good luck on your paper this weekend! Mine isn't even startd yet!

So who were you rolling your eyes with the other night when I was showing off my intelligence?

From: [identity profile] curetpillargirl.livejournal.com

I did not roll my eyes at your intelligence! I was probably thinking about what I was going to eat for dinner the next day or giving Nicholas a makeover in my head, or that Capa lady with the pink eyebrows. You're a genius a veritable genius and you make me look llike an absolute pudding head. You have the intelligence and prowress to argue against the popular opinion and fight Cook on it, which I can't do. So I, retarded Jennifer, bow to the intelligence of the almighty Haley.

None of this is sarcasm either. And I have still haven't started my paper. but I'm consdiering it.
