Yesterday I never really felt hungry. I had a 1/2 cup of ricotta cheese for breakfast, some chicken for lunch, about 1/2 cup of salmon dip for a snack, and then a salad and a serving of no-noodle-lasagna for dinner, plus my standard dessert. It feels like I ate a lot for not being very hungry. I think I'm in ketosis--that is my body is officially burning through the fat. Since I have a LOT of fat, it's probably not a big surprise that I'm not really hungry. I can also tell that my taste buds are adjusting. I have the feeling that if I ate a cookie right now, or some ice cream, it would be far too sweet for me.

Mentally, I'm still feeling pretty good about this. That sense of "Oh my god, I'm never going to accomplish anything" is starting to fade. I'm bummed out that I didn't start this sooner, because I need a dress for a banquet at the beginning of March, and I really don't think I'm going to be able to find one that fits and doesn't look like a mumu or a shroud.

I'm watching the remake of Bedazzled right now. I guess if I forget that the real Bedazzled is pretty much the funniest movie I've ever seen, this film isn't too painful. Brendan Fraser is pretty adorable. Not as adorable as Dudley Moore, I have to say.
